The Star Wars world is not safe from plot holes, and one that fans are hoping will probably be solved in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is where Luke Skywalker's green lightsaber has been and R2-D2 may have the answer. In Star Wars: A New Hope, Luke had been awarded his dad's blue lightsaber by Obi-Wan Kenobi, but dropped it after the duel on Cloud City against his dad.
Close to the close of the film, Luke threw his lightsaber off after nearly killing his dad and announced himself to be a Jedi, but regained the weapon following the Emperor's (supposed) death in the hands of Darth Vader. The green lightsaber was afterwards seen in a flashback scene in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, in which Luke approached his Padawan and nephew Ben Solo (aka Kylo Ren), setting the darkness in him. Luke triggered the lightsaber from instinct, but Solo woke up and thought he was going to be assaulted by his own master, and ruined the Jedi Temple they had been in.

Aside from this scene, the green lightsaber hasn't appeared in the sequel films, and it is unknown where it could be or who could be maintaining it but a buff has an idea of who's accountable for it.

A theory posted on Reddit indicates R2-D2 is keeping Luke's green lightsaber. The author explains that, in Return of the Jedi, R2-D2 was shown to possess a storage compartment in which it retained the lightsaber. R2-D2 was with Luke from the Jedi Temple if Kylo Ren destroyed it, so it is possible that the always loyal robot caught the lightsaber amidst the destruction and chaos. The theory is supported by the fact that the lightsaber was nowhere to be seen while Rey was being trained by Luke at Ahch-To, and throughout his duel from Kylo Ren through Force Projection he had been utilizing the blue lightsaber.

The writer of the concept adds that, sooner or later during Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, when there's apparently no way out, R2-D2 will reveal the green lightsaber concealed in its storage compartment and provide it to Rey. However, while she'd be the most obvious choice, it may be best (for storyline reasons) to instead give it to Kylo Ren, that might be on his way to redemption. That way, his arc would come into full circle, with him embracing his first Jedi coaching by minding his master's lightsaber, so becoming the last Skywalker to rise (as he's Leia's son and the last Skywalker standing). Since the final installment from the Skywalker saga, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker should answer the biggest plot holes the sequel trilogy has left, including how Maz Kanata captured the blue lightsaber and where the green one has been
James Bond has been a cinematic presence for almost 60 years, however simply due to the fact the assets has survived for this long, would not mean it can't evolve with the instances.
The twenty fifth large display day out for 007, Cary Joji Fukunaga's No Time to Die, will be the primary Bond movie of the #MeToo era and its stars aren't taking that with no consideration. In fact, Daniel Craig (acting one closing time because the MI6 tremendous-spy) isn't at all keen on one of the franchise's longest-dwelling phrases.
"I don’t even call them 'Bond Girls,'” Craig recently informed Vanity Fair of his woman co-stars. “I’m no longer going to disclaim it to every body else. It’s just I can’t have a sensible conversation with anyone if we’re talking approximately ‘Bond Girls.'"

A mirrored image of modern-day society, No Time to Die functions of the most self-enough and empowered woman characters the series has ever visible: Nomie (Captain Marvel's Lashana Lynch), a 00-agent for MI6 and Paloma (Blade Runner 2049's Ana de Armas), a CIA field operative.
“I must constantly be so fortunate to paintings with a lady like that," Craig said of de Armas. "This is a film where there’s a whole lot of sh** taking place, loads of massive performing, myself very lots included, however she shines through because she’s the real deal. She’s got excellent comic timing and we’re not supplying her a large element. No Time To Die Full Movie Online. But she came in and simply nailed it. She had very little to move on, the scripts are being rewritten, you’re converting matters all the time or throwing them at her, and he or she’s now not fazed by way of it."
The script rewrites to which the actor refers are the ones that occured after director Danny Boyle parted approaches with the task over innovative differences. His script with John Hodge was scrapped in choose of a clean start from Bond vets Neal Purvis and Robert Wade. From there, Scott Z. Burns and Phoebe Waller-Bridge have been added in for sprucing. Specifically, Waller-Bridge (recognised for growing awards darling Fleabag) become asked to infuse the screenplay with more humor.
"You can also inform that Phoebe turned into in there,” de Armas explained to Vanity Fair. “There became that humor and spikiness so particular to her. My character feels like a actual lady. But you recognize, we can evolve and grow and incorporate truth, but Bond is a myth. In the cease you could’t take things out of in which they live."
"[Paloma] is someone who’s simply started operating for the CIA, and so she’s speculated to have minimal education while she first meets Bond. The expectation is that she’s now not going to be the maximum proficient agent, but let’s simply say that she simply packs a punch," added manufacturer Barbara Broccoli.
No Time to Die hits theaters anywhere Friday, April 10.
