Star Wars: The Growth of Skywalker release date, trailer, runtime, and What you Want to know about Episode 9

We are coming to the end.  Star Wars: The growth of Skywalker, AKA Episode 9, marks the last film from the Skywalker saga, bringing a story that began all of the way back in 1977 with Star Wars: A New Hope into a finish.  The Resistance is on the rear, while Emperor Palpatine's somehow back and apparently gathered an army of Death Destroyers (briefly glimpsed at in the D23 sneak-peak).  Who'll come out top?

The Jedi?  The Sith?  Or as we guess -- neither?

J.J. Abrams, who formerly led Star Wars: The Force Awakens, was tasked with carrying the Death Star-sized hype surrounding the concluding chapter to the saga and landing it easily.

The very first Star Wars: The growth of Skywalker trailer has been disclosed to the roaring masses in Star Wars Celebration 2019, teasing the Emperor's return -- a jolt as we saw him plummeting to his supposed death in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi.  The next trailer, which originated in D23, teased some additional details, such as Rey holding a red lightsaber (has she switched to the Dark Side)  And C3PO with reddish eyes.  Afterwards came the last trailer, which comprised additional glimpses at what is to come.
Regardless of the particulars of Star Wars: The growth of Skywalker being kept closely under wraps by LucasFilm, there is enough information out there to fulfill a Sarlaac pit, and there is a lot to speculate about, also.  Below, we will fill you in on all you want to know about Star Wars: The growth of Skywalker -- that the launch date, cast, plot, concepts, and much more.  It is true: it all.  After all, it is the last new Star Wars film until December 2022, therefore take advantage of it while you can...

It has been down in our diaries for quite a very long time today: the Star Wars: The growth of Skywalker release date was verified as December 20, 2019 from the US -- however, as has been tradition, the launch date for UK audiences is defined for a day before, on December 19, 2019.

In the past several decades, the franchise came to dominate the vacation season, together with all The Force Awakens, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, and The Last Jedi all making big money within the Christmas period.  There is still a comprehensive post-production period to undergo (those visual impacts do not create themselves) but soon enough we are going to be sitting in cinemas watching The growth of Skywalker's strangest unknown new opening crawl.

Things could have been much different, though.  The first Star Wars: The growth of Skywalker launch date was May 24, 2019 (one day prior to the first picture's 42nd anniversary) but the death of original director Colin Trevorrow supposed pushing things back a bit -- as we will see later on...

Jumanji: The Next Level' Twist Body Swaps Using the Film Crew

That trepidation only increased when I first found out that the studio was doing away with all the traditional board game in favor of carrying a more modern approach -- a movie game.  Turns out though, that switch is exactly what gave the concept a second wind and a great deal of franchise possible. Jumanji The Next Level Full Movie

As we saw at Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, when Spencer (Alex Wolff) and his buddies are sucked in the Jumanji movie game, they turned into the game's avatars.  The concept is body swap golden!  Dwayne Johnson is challenged to play with a high school outcast, Kevin Hart is the jock, Karen Gillan is a kickass avatar being controlled by Spencer's super silent and bashful crush, and Jack Black is the college's Queen Bee.  Back in 2017 the situation was shown to be an extremely entertaining acting challenge with loads of box office possible, and director Jake Kasdan is making the most of that concept again with a brand new installment, Jumanji: The Next Level.  Not only is the whole gang from the last movie back for longer, but this moment, Kasdan and his team kick against the role-swapping up a big notch by adding Danny DeVito, Danny Glover and Awkwafina into the equation.

Considering that the high appeal of this role-swap narrative, we figured, why not continue the fun in the Jumanji: The Next Level junket?  We asked Johnson, Hart, Gillan, Black, DeVito, Glover and Awkwafina which Jumanji: The Next Level crew member they'd like to swap bodies so they can learn more about that person's craft.  It is possible to catch their answers in the video near the peak of this article.  And make sure you keep an eye out for even more with the Jumanji cast leading to the movie's December 13th nationwide launch.  We'll also have complete interviews with Kasdan and producers Hiram Garcia and Matt Tolmach.
And if you're searching for a modest next level experience at this time, click here to check out a significant highlight from the Jumanji junket trip to Cabo San Lucas -- bungee jumping.
